The pandemic has helped us rekindle some of set aside skills

Some to ease the grief from lost colleagues.

Bound to my bed all-day

Tears like pox filled rivers flow

From my pores to slake the earth below.

Oh, wanton sleep! Your sweet breath to chill

The heated frenzy that clothes my will.

Let me rest in your naked embrace,

My breath metered and still.
