Forced to order the half and half

The neither here nor there

Reach out but make it virtual

Help others but not at any risk

Be emphatic but keep your distance

Live life but wait for better days

May 2020. One PUI and everything goes into a standstill. Waiting for confirmation seems like an eternity. The result comes out positive… sighs… silence.  Commotion. Silence again. But the turmoil continues within.  The instinct is to hide, each one hoping for a volunteer. And when there is none, it becomes a Russian roulette. A sudden death.
