The Committee on Credentialing and Membership conducted training spearheaded by Dr. Rica J. San Diego, Committee on Credentials and Membership Co-chair. The workshop focuses on the second module of the Doctor’s Relationship Management (DRM) program. The DRM is a web app designed to host all of the information of Doctors including, but not limited to, personal details, financial records, and activities. The main participants for this workshop are the 30 PCP Chapter-secretariats and Chapter officers. The primary aim of this workshop is to train the secretariats on how to properly record the financial records of Doctors.

In addition to this, this workshop also aims to check on the current status of the Chapters’ DRM and the difficulties that the secretariats’ encountered using the first module of the DRM. The workshop was held at Mercure Hotel, San Antonio, Pasig City on October 26, 2019.

The PCP Lower Northeastern Luzon (LNEL) Chapter will conduct a general assembly and induct its new officers on 30 November 2019 at The Zen Hotel, Santiago, Isabela. The event will celebrate the theme “Magkakalayo man, nagkakalapit din tuwing Christmas.” The PCP Board of Regents are invited to witness the event.

Internal Medicine residents of Manila Doctors Hospital beat four other teams from Asian Hospital & Medical Center; Metropolitan Medical Center; St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, and Las Piñas General Hospital Satellite & Trauma Center last October 26, 2019 at the Makati Medical Center for the 2nd elimination round of the Dr. Adrian C. Pena PCP-Upjohn Medical Quiz Contest.

Next elimination round will be held at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City on 23 November 2019 at 1:00PM. Winners of the elimination rounds will compete at the Grand Finals on May 4, 2020 at the Conrad Hotel, Pasay City.

PCP Northwestern Luzon (NWL) Chapter held its general assembly and oath taking of new officers last October 26, 2019 at the Ariana Hotel, La Union.

Past PCP NWL presidents Dr. Glenn Ernest Fonbuena and Dr. Francisco K. Ontalan III (also the incumbent regent for Northern Luzon) were the introductory speaker and the guest of honor, respectively.

PCP Vice President Dr. Mario M. Panaligan inducted the new set of officers of the chapter and delivered a motivational talk. Dr. Crisanta Gabriela B. Palabay was inducted this year’s PCP NWL Chapter President.

Before the general assembly, a quiz show between Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center and Lorma Medical Center was held. The latter won the contest and took home cash prize and trophy.
