PCP celebrates Love with Filipino Music and Poetry

The Philippine College of Physicians celebrates the love month with music and poetry in I.M. in Love Concert on February 7, 2108, 6 PM to 9 PM, at the Music Museum. 

Filipino love songs will be performed by talented singing Internal Medicine doctors including Nemencio Nicodemus, Jr., Vimar Luz, Gina Nazareth, Maaliddin Biruar, Angeline Therese Santiago, Roy Gonzales, Nanette Rey, Mieto Bacus, Auxencio Lorenz Lucero, Honey Villaluna, Glynna Ong-Cabrera, Mary Jane Reyes, Rodney Jimenez, among others. Kuh Ledesma, the ‘Pop Diva’ of the Philippines, will be gracing the night on stage.

Guest performance poets include S.E.A. Write Award laureate and multi-awarded poet, essayist, and literary translator, Michael M. Coroza; The Makatas, a group of poets who follow the balagtasan tradition and members of the Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika, at Anyo (LIRA), group of poets writing in FIlipino; spoken word performer and poet Franz Pantaleon and the duo perfomers, Rommel A. Pamaos and Ansherina May D. Jazul; Eloisa Toledo Francia of the Filipino-Canadian poetry group Poetry is Our Second Language; Loaf Fonte, Maningning Miclat (for Filipino) awardee and also a member of LIRA; and songwriter and performance and slam poet, Jerome Cleofas.

This concert is for the benefit of the Adult Leukemia Foundation of the Philippines (EPCALM).
